A native of Freeport, New York, Jeremy played high school hockey at Portledge School prior to joining the USA Hockey National Team Development Program where he flourished offensively during his two seasons, finishing third all-time in USNTDP scoring. He was drafted 61st overall in the 2nd round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs. In the 2015-16 season, Jeremy played for the Kitchener Rangers in the OHL finishing with 64 points in 49 regular season games, and leading the Rangers in playoff scoring with 14 points in 9 games. Jeremy began the 2016-17 season with the Kitchener Rangers, and was a midseason acquisition of the 2017 Memorial Cup Host, Windsor Spitfires.
Internationally, Jeremy represented the United States at the 2014 U17 World Hockey Challenge, and was a member of the gold medal winning teams at the 2015 IIHF U18 World Championship and 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship.
